Andrew Maden – Director & Project Manager
As one of the Company Directors of Maden Eco, my role is to provide both the strategic future direction for our business by recognising and responding to the rapidly changing environment of renewable energy. I have a broad understanding of how both commercial and domestic customers can benefit from investing in renewable projects and have successfully completed many projects. I have a varied ‘hands on’ role and directly oversee and manage our jobs on site; I schedule the workload of our in house work force and ensure that materials are ordered and accounted for. I am actively involved in the resolution of any technical issues that occur and engage with external contractors and suppliers to assist in the smooth operation of the business.
Simon Maden – Director & Sales Manager
Simon Maden is one of the company directors, with a degree in building surveying (Napier University), HND in construction (University of Northumbria) and many years’ experience in designing individual homes and solutions for clients in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. As Sales/Marketing Director Mr Maden is the face of Maden Eco and will endeavour to be the person who comes to meet every new client. With the embracing of new eco technologies Simon has spent many years researching solar and wind to assist clients in the best advice for their projects. Co-ordinating the company direction and moving with the times Simon’s role is to keep the company up-to-date in all renewable technologies for all departments of the company. He will co-ordinate with client, design team, installers and energy providers to make your experience with Maden Eco as trouble free as possible.
Kevin Ramage – Financial Director
I joined the company in June 2009 as Financial Director having been self- employed previously. My main duties are the running of the complete accounting and payroll functions of the business and I am administrator of the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) and REAL Assurance scheme which are the registration bodies to whom we are affiliated and certify us as installers of PV and Wind Turbines. I am also involved in the admin function with regards to our membership of the NICEIC (Electrical. We are a fairly small team in the administration department, each and everyone gets involved in a wide variety of duties to help the company run smoothly and ensure that our processes comply with our various responsibilities to staff and customers alike. My duties therefore cover a large part of the overall administration of the company.
Anne Williams – Office Manager
As Office Manager it falls to me to make sure the office runs smoothly. As well as general day to day office admin tasks, it is my responsibility to ensure the staff understand what they are to do, whilst also managing both the directors and area managers’ diaries by scheduling site visits and appointments. As the main office email is located to me, I prioritise that emails are responded to promptly and that any matters or enquiries are given to the relevant person.
